OHPC Recruitment 2019 – Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Limited (OHPC) Job notification for the post of Technical Trainee in various trades, Junior Clerk Trainee/ L.D. OHPC Recruitment – Detailed Eligibility:

Electrical Trainee:

  • HSC with approved trade certificate in Electrician trade from ITI.
  • Candidate possessing National Apprenticeship Certificate in Electrician trade from NCVT will be preferred.

Mechanical Trainee:

  • HSC with approved trade certificate in Fitter trade from ITI.
  • Candidate possessing National Apprenticeship Certificate in Fitter trade from NCVT will be preferred.

Welder Trainee:

  • HSC with approved trade certificate in Welder trade from ITI.
  • Candidate possessing National Apprenticeship Certificate in Welder trade from NCVT will be preferred.

Crane Operator Trainee:

  • Must have passed 10th examination from the recognised Board.
  • Must have valid Workman-C permit issued by the appropriate licensing authority.
  • Must have minimum 05 years of experience in operating Electrical Overhead Travelling Cranes, handling minimum of 100 T of load.
    OR
  • Candidates possessing ITI in Motor Mechanic / Crane Operator trade from recognised institute.



 

Wireman Trainee:

  • HSC with approved trade certificate in Wireman trade from ITI,
  • Candidate possessing National Apprenticeship Certificate in Wireman trade from NCVT will be preferred.

Store Keeper Trainee:

  • Commerce Graduate
  • One year Diploma in Computer Application or equivalent from recognized institution.

Junior Clerk Trainee/ L.D. Assistant Trainee:

  • Graduate in any discipline with one year Diploma in Computer Application or equivalent from recognised institute. OR
  • Diploma in Office Management from recognised Institute with one year Diploma in Computer Application or equivalent from recognised institute.

Steno-cum-Computer Assistant Trainee:

  • Graduate in any discipline,
  • Shorthand in English- 80 words per minute,
  • Typing in English 40 words per minutes and 20 words per minutes in Odia.
  • One year Diploma in Computer Application or equivalent from a recognised institute.

Age Limit (As on 01.03.2019): 18 to 32 years.

Age Relaxations:

  • 5 years for SC, ST, SEBC & Women candidates
  • 10 years for PWD Candidates
  • Others as per Govt rules.

Stipend details:

  • Technical Trainee/Jr. Clerk Trainee/ LD Assistant Trainee: Rs. 13,500/Month
  • Steno-cum- Computer Assistant Trainee: Rs.14,500/Month

OHPC Recruitment 2019 Trainee – Selection process:

For Technical Trainee:

  • Eligible candidates will be called for Computer Based Test Comprising 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) divided in two parts.
  • Part-I: 40 questions from General Aptitude- Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English, General Awareness etc. &
  • Part-II: 80 questions from subject knowledge in the respective discipline.
  • The merit list will be drawn purely on the basis of performance in the CBT.



 

For Non-Technical Trainee:

  • Eligible candidates will be called for Computer Based Test on General Aptitude Comprising 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • The CBT will cover 30 MCQs each from General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language & Reasoning.
  • Based on the performance in CBT, the Candidates will be shortlisted for the Skill Test on Computer.
  • The Computer Based Skill Test for Jr. Clerk Trainees/ L.D. Asst. Trainees will comprise Test on Computer Application (i.e. MS Word/ MS Excel etc.), Language (English & Odia), General Knowledge, Intelligence Test & Mathematics.
  • The Skill Test for Steno-cum-CA Trainees will comprise Computer Application (i.e. MS Word/ MS Excel etc.), English, Shorthand & Type Writing in Computer.
  • The merit list will be published combinedly on the basis of performance in CBT as well as Skill Test.

Application Fee: Rs. 500/- (No fee for SC/ST candidates of Odisha & PWD candidates)

Mode of Payment:

  • For online mode through State Bank Collect (Debit Card/ Credit Card/Net Banking)
  • For Offline payment mode by SBI Bank Challan
