About CGPSC
The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) is the state agency authorized to conduct the Civil Services Examination for entry-level appointments to the various Civil Services of Chhattisgarh. Under the re-organization of Madhya Pradesh, the State of Chhattisgarh came into existence on 1st November 2000 and CGPSC was formed under the provision of Act 315 of the Constitution of India on 23rd May 2001. Its office is located in Shankar Nagar, Raipur near Bhagat Singh Chowk. Mr. K.R. Pisda is chairman of commission.
