Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
- B.E / B.Tech in First Division with GATE. (OR)
- M.E/M.Tech with First Division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level
Note: Valid GATE score is essential for BE / B.Tech
Age limit (As on 30.09.2018): Below 28 years.
Relaxation in upper age limit:
- 5 years for SC/ST candidates
- 3 years for OBC candidates
Discipline wise vacancies: 14 Posts
- Mechanical Engineering – 5 Posts
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering – 4 Posts
- Electronics and Communication Engineering – 5 Posts
Tenure Period: The fellowship is initially for a period of two years and extendable as per
rules.

The selection process of Junior Research Fellows will be based on the screening test and interview.
