According to the report of The Hindu, the bank has decided that the youth have greatly appreciated the Yono app. Everyday 3 million people log in to this app. Now it will be extended to businessmen and farmers. They will be able to avail of this facility from April 2019. For this, they will get all the banking facilities in the same card or app. Farmers will also be given information about seeds and weather on the app. He will be able to get information of Kisan credit card, gold loan or online market through this app. This app will be launched in 6 Vernacular languages.



When this service was started by the bank, it was told that through this app 60 essential services of everyday life will be available on a platform. Banks, books, cab books, entertainment, food, travel and medical services are being provided in 14 different categories. For this, the bank has also tied up with 60 e-commerce companies. It includes companies such as Amazon, Uber, Mantra, Shopper Stop, Thomas Cook, Travel etc. IOS and Android users can download this app.

Customers of SBI have so much fanfare that in just 10 months, more than 10 million people have downloaded it. This app was launched by SBI on November 24, 2017. SBI customers are using the Yono app for their banking, shopping, lifestyle and investment needs. Yono also got the Mobile Banking Initiative award of the year at ABF Retail Banking Awards 2018.
