The rise of automation is disrupting the job market and the very nature of jobs itself. In India, its is creating ample opportunities across new and emerging areas like big data and analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
According to the report,“The future of women at work: Transitions in the age of automation” by McKinsey Global Institute, automation may cost India a major transition in jobs over the next 10 years. Yet, that does not mean all is lost, as a large number of cutting-edge software jobs are up for grabs.
A recent survey done by Analytics Vidhya and ed-tech platform Great Learnings reveals that India has 50,000 vacancies in data and analytics.

Flipkart is hiring full-time data scientists in Bangalore. The job’s responsibilities include analysing data and statistics of company reports and interpreting trends from complex data sets. It will also include corrections in the code snippets to enhance performance.
To apply for the job, the candidate should have experience in database and analytics including knowledge on data mining, SQL(Structured Query Language) database, and reporting packages like Tableau, Power BI (Business Intelligence).

2. Mindtree
Position: Software EngineerLocation: Bangalore, India
Experience: 0-1 years
Eligibility: BTech in Computer Science or M.Tech in similar field, MCA
MindTree is looking for technology engineers. The candidate should have knowledge of programming languages. The company will train new joinees for 12 weeks. Thereafter, their job could be located either at Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune or Bhubaneswar, depending on the requirement.
