Paytm offers cashback of Rs 1,000 on bus ticket bookings

For availing the cashback, a customer needs to have verified mobile number on Paytm. If the order is cancelled then users will not be eligible for the cashback.



The mobile wallet company, Paytm, has come up with an interesting offer on New Year 2019, extending its customers a cashback of up to Rs 1,000 on booking bus tickets. All the Paytm users can avail this offer which is applicable as much as 25 times per user. According to the Paytm website, customers can avail this cashback amount by using a promotional code: BUS2019, through Paytm mobile app or Paytm website.

Paytm stated that users can avail a cashback of 8 per cent of up to Rs 1,000 on the bus ticket booking amount, adding that the eligible cashback will be credited to the Paytm Wallet within 24 hours following the successful transaction.



For availing the cashback, a customer needs to have verified mobile number on Paytm. If the order is cancelled then users will not be eligible for the cashback, Paytm said, adding “if you have not completed your KYC or have breached your monthly wallet limit, you will receive Goldback (inclusive of 3% GST).

Paytm further stated that a user is eligible for a cashback of Rs 80 on a booking amount of Rs 1,000. Customer will receive a cashback of Rs 1,000 on a booking amount of Rs 12,500 or more.

According to the website, to book your bus tickets on Paytm, just fill in the requisite information in the required fields and customise your trip. “We provide you an array of options for your travel. You can choose sleeper, semi-sleeper, AC/non-AC, or any other type of bus you want, for your trip. You can search for availability of the bus by entering the time and date of the reservation. We also facilitate you to choose the seat you want from all available seats in the bus,” it said.



Paytm has also announced cashback offer under ‘Monthly Grocery Sale’ in which the firm is offering cashback of up to Rs 5,000 and free of cost delivery. The offer is valid from January 1 to 5, 2019.
