Here’s how you can use Google Chrome in Hindi and other languages

Google Search in its own way is self-sufficient when it comes to displaying search results in different languages. However, the tech giant also allows users to change the default language of its Chrome browser. If you’re keen on doing so, then here’s how to do it:

Steps to follow

1-Launch Google Chrome on your PC or Mac using the launcher or start menu.

Windows users can open Google Chrome either using the shortcut button or heading into the start menu. Alternatively, users can simply search for Google Chrome.

Mac users can access the browser from the launcher or the Dock.

2-Now, head to the menu button from the top right corner of the Chrome window represented as three horizontal dots.

5-Under the Settings menu, scroll down, look for the ‘Advance’ option and click on it.

The Advance option is located at the bottom of the Settings menu page which has an additional option such as passwords, auto fill, language, etc.

6-Then, click on the Language option

Scroll down further, look for Language option and click or tap on the downward facing arrow in front of the option.

7-Now, click on ‘Add a language’ option to choose the desired language.



8-Scroll through the list of languages or simply search it by typing the name into the search bar at the top.

9-Click on the language to select and hit the Add button

10-The new language will now show up at the bottom of the default language list.

11-In case, there are multiple languages selected, users have to set the new language as the default.

12-To set the default language, hit the three-horizontal dot (menu option) from the right side of the particular language from the list and select the option ‘Display Google Chrome in this language’.

13-Restart the browser to save the changes.
