Buying a car? Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Alto 800 to Dzire, discounts as massive as Rs 1.2 lakh now on offer

In a bid to replace current generation of Ciaz with the facelift version, auto major Maruti Suzuki is offering huge discounts on the existing car. The discount offer on this passenger car is as big as Rs 1.2 lakh. Available in about 13 variants, Maruti Ciaz price starts at Rs 8.04 lakh and stretches to Rs 11.86 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom). Surprisingly, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is available at a cash discount of Rs 40,000 on petrol variants, while diesel version is Rs 70,000, besides an additional exchange bonus of Rs 50,000 across all variants.

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (MSIL) is the highest selling car manufacturer in India’s auto market. Almost all of its cars are segment-leaders in terms of sales. Still, the company is currently offering attractive discounts on most of its cars to maintain its sales lead over rivals. Here’s a look at the discounts and offers from the auto major:



Maruti Suzuki Ciaz

The offer’s most lucrative part is that the vehicle’s age is not being considered, it just needs to be less than seven years old. In addition to this, there is a maximum corporate discount of Rs 10,000, depending upon various aspects. Recently, the 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift was spotted in two colours. The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift is likely to give a tough competition to the likes of new Hyundai Verna, Honda City, Toyota Yaris, Volkswagen Vento and Skoda Rapid.

Maruti Alto 800
Alto 800 is the least priced model from MSIL, and is currently available with a cash discount of Rs 30,000 along with an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000 on exchanging a car that’s less than 7 years old. Buyers can get a bonus of Rs 15,000 on exchanging a car that’s more than 7 years old.



Maruti Alto K10
Powerful version of Alto, Maruti Alto K10 is available with an optional AMT. The MT variant is available with a cash discount of Rs 22,000, while AMT models are available with a discount of Rs 27,000. In case of exchange bonus, buyers can get Rs 30,000 on manual transmission variants and Rs 35,000 on AMT models. The exchange bonus is Rs 10,000 less if the car exchanged is more than seven years old.

Maruti Wagon R
The Maruti WagonR is available with a minimum discount of Rs 30,000 on LXI petrol variants, while VXI petrol models, AMT models and CNG variants come with a cash discount of Rs 35,000. All MT variants will also get an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000, while the AMT variants get an exchange bonus of Rs 35,000. The exchange bonus is Rs 10,000 lesser in case the car is more than seven years old.

Maruti Celerio
Maruti Celerio’s manual transmission-equipped petrol and CNG variants are available with a cash discount of Rs 25,000, while the AMT models are being offered with a cash discount of Rs 30,000. In case of exchange, Rs 25,000 bonus is available on the MT variants while Rs 30,000 on the AMT models. This bonus amount is Rs 10,000 less if the car being exchanged is more than seven years old.

Maruti Ertiga
Since the current-gen Maruti Ertiga will soon be replaced with an all-new model, the auto firm is offering attractive discounts of Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 on petrol and CNG variants, respectively. The diesel variants are also being offered with a cash discount of Rs 25,000. The exchange bonus of Rs 35,000 is also available on diesel variants, and Rs 30,000 on petrol variants, but this bonus would be Rs 10,000 less if the car being exchanged is more than seven years old.



Maruti Ignis
Recently, Maruti discontinued the diesel variant of Ignis, therefore, only petrol model is available for a cash discount of Rs 30,000, along with an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000 on all the variants, regardless of the age of old car.

Maruti Dzire
The petrol variant of Dzire has no discount, but diesel variants are available with Rs 15,000 discount. There’s also an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000, but in case of car more than 7 years old this amount would be reduced to only Rs 15,000.

Maruti Swift
There is no discount on Swift petrol, but a cash discount of Rs 10,000 is available on the petrol variant. The exchange bonus of Rs 20,000 for cars less than seven years of age, while the same would be reduced to Rs 10,000 for cars older than seven years.
