Of all the phones we have seen and used in the last year, the Samsung Galaxy S9 is the most beautiful smartphones to buy today. The full glass finish, along with curves on both the front and back give it a distinctive and attractive look. It’s a precarious design, but one that you just can’t ignore. The Galaxy S9 reeks of premiumness and if that wasn’t enough, it’s also extremely ergonomic.
Another stunning looking phone is the Apple iPhone X, which brings a completely new all-screen design to the iPhone lineup. The only thing which is keeping it back is the notch, but we are judging you if you like it. That said, the phone is a beast when it comes to raw performance and offers an impressive rear camera. The battery life is also decent. Being an Apple phone comes with an extra premium price tag, but then it is also the best phone in India.
The Huawei P20 Pro looks stunning. It relies on a glass sandwich design but thanks to added elements to the glass, it has a shimmer that makes it look very attractive. It does have a notch up front, but that isn’t quite intrusive as everyone thought. In fact, thanks to the metal frame around the glass body, the P20 Pro is also one of the sturdiest phones you can buy right now, apart from its three-eyed camera prowess. Yes, the Huawei P20 Pro has three cameras at the back which makes it all the more unique.
The Galaxy S9+ has everything the smaller version has, except the ergonomic factors. This is the good looking phone that phablet lovers should be looking at, as long as its huge price tag is not a problem.
The Nokia 8 Sirocco is a special phone. It brings back the craftsmanship Nokia was known for. With a stainless steel body sandwiched between glass that curves to meet at the edges, this is hands down one of the coolest looking phones we have seen so far. The OnePlus 6 ticks off all the in-vogue design elements of smartphones in 2018. The notched display, glass body, dual cameras, but there’s so much more to it than that. With three unique variants, there’s a OnePlus 6 for every one, but our money on the silk white variant that has a subtle shimmer thanks to the use pearl powder in the body. Hands down the best looking OnePlus device ever.
While the Mi Miix 2 was unable to make a big impact in the premium smartphone segment, there is no doubting that it is one of the best-looking smartphones out there. The phone keeps just one thicker bezel at the bottom and goes completely bezel-less as the iPhone X. The phone is not just good looking, but it is fast and offers a commendable battery life.
Honor’s smartphones designs have improved by leaps and bounds. It’s use of glass in the design is one of the most unique. Like the P20 Pro, the Honor 10 also uses various elements in the glass that makes the glass change colour when seen from different angles. It’s also quite compact and is easily one of the most ergonomic devices we have used so far.
It’s good to see Nokia back in the mix of good looking smartphones. The Finnish company were the pioneers of phone designs back in its hey day and with the Nokia 7 Plus, the HMD-backed brand is now back at doing what they do best – Make sturdy, long-lasting good looking phones. What makes the Nokia 7 Plus looks so good is not just the metal unibody design and the rubberised texture at the back. It is in fact, the thick copper lining along the edges that makes it stand out from the crowd.
Moto X4
These days there aren’t that many small and ergonomic phones out there, but the Moto X4 is just that. The phone is quite handy as it offers a 5.2-inch display and has a premium glass design both front and back. It is a decent performer and will provide a day-long battery life, but the camera is not its best asset.
