Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification: 10 + 2 (Senior Secondary) pass from a recognized Board.
Physical Standards:
- Male – Height (Minimum): 165 cms – For all candidates
- Female – Height (Minimum): 155 cms – For all candidates
- Chest (Only for men) – Min. 76 cms un-expanded & 80 cms when expanded
Age limit (As on 01.07.2018):
- 18 to 21 years for Male Candidates
- 18 to 25 years for Female Candidates
Relaxations in upper age limit:
- 5 years for SC, ST candidates
- 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates
- Others as per government policy.

Assam Police Recruitment Constable Selection process:
The selection process will be based on Physical Endurance Tests (Qualifying), Physical Measurement Tests, Written Test and Medical Examination.
Scheme of Written Test:
- Written Test will be of 90 minutes duration and will comprise of 100 objective type questions on Reasoning, General Knowledge/Current Affairs and Numerical Ability.
- The question paper will be Bilingual (English and Hindi).
Application Fee: Rs. 300/- (No fee for SC/ST / Ex-servicemen and Women candidates)
Mode of Payment: Demand draft – Drawn in favour of DCP/Recruitment Cell, New Police Lines, Delhi (Payable at Delhi).
