Google is all set to host its next big launch event on October 9 in New York where the company will launch the third-generation ‘Made by Google’ Pixel smartphones along with several other devices. The search giant’s upcoming Pixel 3 smartphones, likely to be called Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, have been speculated since months now. Other than the duo, Google is also likely to launch other hardware products at the event. Meanwhile, Google has confirmed that it will not launch its own Wear OS-based Android Watch dubbed as the Pixel Watch during the event.

So, here is everything that Google is expected to launch during its October 9 ‘Made by Google’ event.

Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones
The upcoming Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with the latest Android 9.0 Pie operating system. However, the two will not be the first Android 9.0 Pie smartphones. While the larger Pixel 3 XL is expected to come with an iPhone-like notch display, the smaller Pixel 3 will not include the notch. The notch on the Pixel 3 XL is said to comprise dual front-facing cameras on either side of the earpiece grille. While there is no official word yet Google is expected to launch the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL in India by November.

Google ‘Nocturne’ hybrid tablet
Google will reportedly also launch a Chrome OS-powered PixelBook tablet codenamed ‘Nocturne’ at its hardware event on October 9. The device will offer a detachable display, similar to the ones seen on Windows 2-in-1 hybrids. Rumours have it that the device will run Chrome OS and will also support Linux apps by default. Interestingly, Google could add a fingerprint scanner at the side of the Pixelbook. As far as the pricing is concerned, the Chromebook could be expensive and is expected to be powered by an Intel Kaby Lake-Y processor with 8GB RAM. There could be a 13-inch display with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,600 pixels along with a backlit keyboard.

New Chromecast
Google could announce a new Chromecast model with Bluetooth support and enhanced 5GHz Wi-Fi connectivity during the Pixel 3 launch event. Rumours have it that the new Chromecast might not include support for 4K resolution.

Google Home Hub
Like always, Google is expected to launch a new smart home assistant and this year Google may call it Home Hub. The device is expected to come with a display along with the speaker. The device also leaked in an FCC filing earlier this year.

Google Pixel Buds 2
Google might be launching the next-generation Pixel Buds earphones dubbed as the Pixel Buds 2. The Pixel Buds 2 will come with a new design and will have support for Google Translate and Assistant.
